The star CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja stunned the entire cricketing fraternity with his astonishing heroics to win the thrilling IPL 2023 final for Chennai Super Kings. CSK required 10 runs off just the last two balls in the last over of the match. Jadeja, out of everyone’s expectations or assumptions, happened to smash a six on the penultimate ball of the over followed by a four in the end.
Just after Jadeja finished the winning shot, he immediately ran to the CSK dugout and tightly hugged skipper MS Dhoni. Subsequently, MS Dhoni lifted Jadeja on his shoulders. Later on, this particular picture went viral on social media.

Speaking of the action of the match, Gujarat Titans were asked to bat by CSK skipper MS Dhoni after winning the toss. Batting first, GT managed to put in a big total of 214 runs for the loss of four wickets in the first innings. Later on, the rain interrupted the game just after the first three balls of the first over in the CSK innings.
The target was revised to 171 runs in 15 overs for CSK after the rain stopped and the game resumed later in the night.
While chasing the target, the senior CSK opener Devon Conway scored 47 runs off just 25 balls with four boundaries and two sixes to his name. Other than him, Shivam Dube also contributed with 32 runs with two sixes with the wood.
In the last over of the match, Jadeja played a match-defining role by shifting the entire result in Chennai’s favour with two consecutive boundaries when they required 10 runs off the last 2 balls. Eventually, CSK clinched their fifth IPL title by winning a final by a margin of five wickets.
