C Hari Nishanth, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Hemang Badani
C Hari Nishanth is a talented young player from Tamil Nadu and has been part of the Chennai team for a while. However, he is yet to get a game for the team. Cheteshwar Pujara was purchased by Chennai in 2021 after heroic performances in Australia. However, he too didn’t get a single game. Hemang Badani, a former India player, was a part of the team in 2010 but didn’t play a single game for the team.
K Vasudevadas, Thisara Perera, Irfan Pathan, and Krishnappa Gowtham

New Zealand’s quick, Matt Henry, was also a part of the team in 2014 but didn’t play for them. Andrew Tye, who won the purple cap in 2018, was a part of the Chennai team in 2015 but only warmed the bench in the yellow jersey.
