After sustaining a knee injury, he was unable to participate in international cricket and had to focus on recovering before returning to the field. Kane recently shared a video on his Instagram handle in which he can be seen batting in the nets.
Notably, he played his last international game for New Zealand against Sri Lanka in Wellington Test on the 17th of March 2023. Later, he was in India to play in the Indian Premier League for his new franchise Gujarat Tians.
