Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player in club football history to score 700 goals. Wishes started pouring in for the superstar from all across the world for achieving this incredible feat. Among the well-wishers was the Indian Cricketing Legend Yuvraj Singh.
Yuvraj was quick to tweet about Ronaldo's achievement, but fans were even quicker to notice the obvious mistake he made in the tweet. All of the issues stemmed from Yuvraj's "welcome to the 700 club" remark. In reality, Ronaldo became the first player in football history to reach the milestone on Sunday.
The two-time World Cup winner, who has been frequently tweeting about his favourite footballers, congratulated Ronaldo on his historic 700th club goal in a Premier League match against Everton. "King is back! Form is temporary class is forever! Welcome to 700 club No7 GOAT, legend," tweeted Yuvraj.

Users on Twitter were quick to point out the error in Yuvraj's tweet and troll him. Some users also pointed out the proper way to say "welcome to the club." "Welcome to the club? App already hain 700 club main?" a user sarcastically tweeted. "Welcome? Bhai Goals ka hai Runs ka nai," another user wrote.
Ronaldo scored just before halftime to give United the deserved three points in the season. With this victory, the Red Devils moved up to the fifth place, nine points behind leaders Arsenal. The team was looking for a response after being thrashed 6-3 by Manchester City the previous weekend, but they got off to the worst possible start.
Ronaldo now has 144 goals in two stints with United. The 37-year-old should have added a second just before the hour mark, but he nodded wide from Casemiro's teasing delivery. Madrid's all-time leading scorer had 450 goals for the Spanish giants, as well as 101 for Juventus and five for Sporting Lisbon.
