The 43rd match of the Indian Premier League 2023 witnessed a high-intensity thriller between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Monday, May 1. RCB avenged their previous last-ball loss against LSG by convincingly defeating them on their home ground by 19 runs.

After the match, former RCB captain Virat Kohli got into a heated argument with some LSG players which instantly became a hot topic on the internet. However, after the match, RCB’s official Twitter handle shared a dressing room reaction video. In the video, RCB speedster Mohammed Siraj was seen showing a middle finger due to which the fans are brutally trolling him for his bad gesture. He also did a Cristiano Ronaldo celebration.

"LSG v RCB, Game Day Dressing Room Reactions. King Kohli reacts to the win, and Faf explains the crucial partnership and how Virat’s aggression helps the team, Karn and Hazlewood talk about their performances before the team sang the victory song. Watch Game Day for more…" read the caption.

Brilliant bowling performance by RCB

Talking about the match, Faf du Plessis, the captain of the RCB, won the toss and chose to bat first. This was a wise choice since the team won by 18 runs despite setting a modest 126-run target. Du Plessis (44) and Virat Kohli (31) scored the most runs for the RCB, while Naveen-ul-Haq of Afghanistan claimed three wickets and the spin tandem of Ravi Bishnoi and Amit Mishra each took two.

The absence of KL Rahul from the LSG's batting lineup prevented them from registering a strong partnership while pursuing the target since the RCB bowlers continued to attack and routinely take wickets. Karn Sharma, Mohammed Siraj, Wanindu Hasaranga, Harshal Patel, and Glenn Maxwell all took one wicket apiece, while Josh Hazlewood and Karn Sharma each took two wickets.
