India's blue-chip bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has moved up to the 11th spot in the ICC ODI rankings for bowlers. This is Bhuvneshwar Kumar's best position since being 10th in September 2017. The 31-year-old played a crucial role in India's 2-1 victory against England in the recent three-match series, picking 3/42 in the final match.
All-rounder Hardik Pandya and wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant have also jumped up considerably in the One-day international rankings. Hardik Pandya reached the career-best 42nd position ICC rankings. Middle-order batsman KL Rahul, who returned to form with a half-century and hundred in the series against England, witnessed a minor rise from 31 to 27 in the rankings. Shardul Thakur's haul of four for 67 in the third match sees him force his way up to 80th from 93rd position.

All-rounder Moeen Ali is up to nine spots to 46th among bowlers. Virat Kohli, Babar Azam and Rohit Sharma held on to their earlier positions at one, two and three for ODI batters.
Bangladesh's Mahmudullah has moved up seven places to joint-40th among batsmen after an unbeaten 76. Talking about New Zealand, Matt Henry has progressed five slots to a career-best third position among bowlers after a haul of four for 27. Jimmy Neesham has also gained 16 places to reach 62nd among bowlers. New Zealand batsman Devon Conway has accomplished a career-best fourth position in the ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings because of his match-winning knock in the series opener against Bangladesh in Hamilton.
All-rounder Jason Holder has advanced three places to eighth position among bowlers for the West Indies after a haul of five for 27 in Sri Lanka's first innings. On the other hand, Kemar Roach is up from 14th to 12th, and Kyle Mayers has moved up 12 places to 53rd among batsmen.
