Bhuvneshwar was not selected in India's Test squad for the upcoming England tour. The decision left many fans shell-shocked. It also caused a huge social media wave. The fast bowler, in his post, said that he prepares himself regardless of the team selection. He has always prepared himself to represent India in all three formats. He will continue to prepare in the same way in the future as well. At the end of his tweet, Bhuvneshwar suggested the media not write their assumptions based on sources.

Bhunvneshwar Kumar has played 21 Tests for the India team. He last appeared in Test cricket in 2018 representing India against South Africa. The match was held in January 2018. The seamer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar suffered several injuries in the last couple of years. The injuries led to him missing some important Test series both at home and away.

Bhuvneshwar has an impressive record in the games he played for India

The Indian bowler, Bhuvneshwar has picked up 63 wickets in just 37 innings. He boasts an excellent average of 26.90. In the red-ball format, he holds four five-wicket hauls. He last played in the now postponed Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Kumar plays for the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). He picked up three wickets from five outings in the league.

India had named the test squad last week for the England tour. The squad consists of 20 members. During the tour, the Virat Kohli-led team will play against New Zealand in the World test Championship final. After that India would play five test matches against the host nation. The test will last from August- September.

The seamer, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is expected to be included in India’s limited over series. Sri Lanka will host the series. It would be a white ball tournament in the month of July.
