The star and young Indian wicketkeeper-batter, Rishabh Pant are currently not in action in international cricket; owing to the horrific accident he met last year on the 30th of December. subsequently, he was rushed to various hospitals before going through treatment and surgery under the supervision of the Indian Cricket Board’s official medical team.
Now, the Director of Cricket at the Delhi franchise of the Indian T20 League, Sourav Ganguly has come up with a piece of information; or a sort of prediction on the comeback of Rishabh Pant to international cricket. Ganguly said that it might take a time of couple of years in the comeback of Rishabh Pant on the cricketing field again.
"I spoke to him a couple of times. Obviously, he is going through a tough period, through injuries and surgeries and I wish him well. In a year's time or maybe in a couple of years' time, he will be back playing for India,” said Ganguly to PTI.
Although this statement from the former Indian Cricket Board president Sourav Ganguly didn’t go down well with a section of the Indian cricket fans; they took to Twitter to troll the 50-year-old for his uncertain remarks on Rishabh Pant’s comeback.
Here’s how fans trolled Sourav Ganguly for his remarks on the comeback of Rishabh Pant:

Coming back to Sourav Ganguly, he also talked about the possible replacement of Rishabh Pant in the squad of Delhi for the 2023 edition of the Indian T20 League.
"We still need a bit of time to figure it out. The next camp starts before Indian T20 League," Ganguly added further.
"The IPL is still a month away and the season has just started. It is difficult to get all the players together for the amount of cricket they play. There are four or five who are playing Irani Trophy. Sarfaraz has an injured finger and it's not a broken finger. He should be okay for the Indian T20 League," he summed up.
