With just a few weeks left for the first kick-off at FIFA World Cup 2022, all teams are announcing their squad with Brazil being the latest of the lot. Journalist Bruno Andrade has revealed the Brazilian team that will travel to Qatar for the upcoming football World Cup.
Featuring the likes of Neymar, Thiago Silva, and Antony, the footballing giants appear to have selected a strong squad for the mega event. While most of the selected players were expected to be in the squad, one that has been surprisingly left out is Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli. The Premier League player has been in sensational form for the London club helping them top the table after 14 games.

The young Brazilian has so far scored five times and additionally provided two assists for Arsenal this season. According to Andrade however, he would miss out on a place in the World Cup squad.
Barcelona winger Raphinha and Manchester United attacker Antony meanwhile have made it into the team on the back of their last season's performance. Both have made big money moves from Leeds United and Ajax to the big teams at the start of the season.
Real Madrid sensation Vinicius Junior also makes it into the team and so does Arsenal forward Jesus who is going through a rich vein of form as well. Defensive duties will be taken care of by Chelsea captain Thiago Silva, PSG legend Marquinhos, Dani Alves, Alex Sandro, Alex Telles and Militao.
In midfield players like Fred, Fabinho, Casemiro and others will fight for a starting place. The FIFA World Cup kicks off on 20th November with hosts Qatar going against Ecuador in the curtain-raiser game.
Brazil will play their first World Cup 2022 match on 25th November against Serbia. The South American team has won five World Cups in the history of the game. Their last World Cup win was in 2002 following which they have failed to emulate the performance from the past.
