Suresh Raina recently expressed his desire to play in the Indian T20 League 2023. He was seen practising wearing the Chennai practice kit. Early this year, he went unsold in the 2022 Indian T20 League player auction. For the first time in the tournament history, 'Mr Indian T20 League', as he is fondly called, did a commentary stint with the league's broadcaster in India.

Recently, he said that he has been spending a lot of time in the nets and focusing on the basics of the game. The left-hander also said that he would love to return to the cash-rich league in the future and was expecting to attract some incredible bids on his name.

“Yes, I have been working really hard and spending lot of time in the nets. I am focusing on keeping my basics intact and not too much thinking of IPL 2023 auction. But I would love to make a return in the league and will expect some incredible bids on my name,” said Suresh Raina.
