The Indian sports star Virat Kohli is frequently in the news for various reasons. The fans often try to impress their favourite cricketer while also hoping to catch a glimpse of him. Something similar happened during the second T20I between India and Australia.

Virat was standing in the Indian dressing room when the fans started chanting for his Indian T20 League franchise. Then, he indicated that he was playing for India and not Bangalore by pointing to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) logo.

Fans, however, have not been pleased with this. While others posted old pictures of him, many of his fans criticised him and claimed that he was fabricating everything. In the photos that the fans dug up, Virat is seen wearing red inners underneath the Indian jersey during a recent Test match in Bangalore.

"Thats because chahal was there usko awkward na lage isliye," a fan hilariously wrote. Notably, Yuzvendra Chahal was a part of the Bangalore team but was not retained for the 2022 season. "Camera k liye karna padta hai," another fan trolled Virat.

On the flip side, a few fans found his reaction genuine and appreciated how valued playing for India more. "Thats amazing to see.. This is what i want.. Even though some people are mad for IPL.. but @imVkohli makes sure it is India 1st and gestures to the crowd to do the same.." a fan wrote.

In the meantime, India and Australia are currently engaged in a three-match Twenty20 international series. The visitors won the first match in Mohali, but the Rohit Sharma-led team bounced back to win the second match in Nagpur.

The series is currently levelled at 1-1, and the winner of the third and final match will also win the series. The series decider will be played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on the 25th of September.
