The Barbados-born all-rounder had hit four back-to-back sixes against England all-rounder Ben Stokes in the final of the T20 World Cup 2016. Batting first, England has made 155/9, thanks to Joe Root (54 of 36 balls), Jos Buttler (36 of 22 balls), and David Willey's cameo of 22 runs in 14 balls. In reply, West Indies had lost three wickets for 11 runs. Marlon Samuels (85*) and Dwayne Bravo (25) had kept the team in the chase with a partnership of 74 runs. However, Braithwaite's 34 runs off 10 balls proved effective for the Men In Maroon in the end.
