Former India skipper Virat Kohli was caught on the stump mic cussing wicketkeeper batter, Rishabh Pant. The incident happened during the second innings of the third ODI against the West Indies. Batting first, the Men In Blue posted a total of 265 all out, thanks to Shreyas Iyer (80), Pant (56), Washington Sundar (33), and Deepak Chahar (38). For Men In Marron, all-rounder Jason Holder took four wickets, Alzarri Joseph and Hayden Walsh took two each while Odean Smith and Fabian Allen took one each.

In reply, West Indies coincidentally lost five wickets for 76 runs just like they did in the previous game. Only stand-in skipper Nicholas Pooran (34) and Odean Smith (36) could cross the 30-run mark. They were restricted to 169 all-out and went on to lose the game by 96 runs. During the innings, Kuldeep Yadav was bowling, and skipper Rohit Sharma and former skipper Virat Kohli were standing in the slips.

At this point, Pant asked whether one more could be taken inside the circle. In reply, the 33-year-old said no while cussing the wicketkeeper batter.

The Indian team has clean swept the West Indies in a bilateral ODI series for the first time. Both teams have played bilateral cricket in the 50-over format since 1983. The team had never lost an ODI series against the Caribbean since 2007 but the latter had won at least one game in the series. In this series, India has beaten the West Indies by 3-0.
