Chennai celebrates 10 years with Ravindra Jadeja

Chennai Kings has always believed in trusting their players. They do not let go of them easily before getting their best out, and there are many such examples. One of the most prominent ones is Ravindra Jadeja. He has been a part of the team for a decade now, and the team took to Twitter to celebrate this occasion.

Chennai took to Twitter and celebrated the occasion. Replying to their tweet, the man in conversation, "Jadeja said, 10 more to go."

Ravindra Jadeja was bought by Chennai in 2012, after playing for Rajasthan and Kochi in the previous seasons. He played for Gujarat Lions during the two years Chennai was banned from the tournamnet.

Jadeja was recently retained by the franchise for the 16th edition of the tournament. He was paid 16 crores to be retained as their primary player. MS Dhoni, Moeen Ali, and Ruturaj Gaikwad were among other players retained by the team.

In the 200 games that he has played in the ITL, Jadeja has 127 wickets at an economy of 7.6. He also has close to 2400 runs at an average of 27.1. These figures are good for an all-rounder, who generally bats at number six or seven. His skills in the field are always an added advantage.

Meanwhile, Jadeja is recovering from an injury which forced him to miss the series against South Africa and West Indies.
