The Pakistan squad for the T20 World Cup 2022 has been announced it bears the same side that has largely the same players as the Asia Cup 2022. The batting wears a solid look with the opening batters Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan, who will take the responsibility behind the stumps as well. The batting also has the big hitters who are required to clear the fence in the big grounds in Australia.
Their fast-bowling attack has Naseem Shah, Harris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Mohammad Hasnain, who will come together and form a deadly right and left arm combination of the pace attack and bowl with superb accuracy and top gun speeds. The fast-bowling attack can take Pakistan all the way to the knockouts of the 20-20World Cup.
Speaking of fast bowlers, former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir has taken a dig at the Pakistan chief selector Ramiz Raja and the other selectors for getting together what he termed as a "cheap squad". He openly criticized the selections and termed the selections as not good.
Here is the tweet
chief slector ki cheap selection 😆
— Mohammad Amir (@iamamirofficial) September 15, 2022
He claimed that the chief selector is a cheap person who is not good and that as a result, he did not select the right squad for the 20-20 World Cup, and that with this squad. He believes that Pakistan will not be able to compete well in the tournament, which will be held in October and November in Australia.
Speaking of the squad, Pakistan's pace attack is the biggest threat to other teams as they can topple any opposition at any point in time regardless of the quality of batting in the opponent's camp.
