RCB vs GT

The ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League 2023 has entered in a very interesting phase as the top four teams for the playoffs are yet to be decided even on the penultimate day of the league stage of the tournament. Today, on the 21st of May, there are two matches which are the virtual knockouts for the five-time champions Mumbai Indians and crowd favourite Royal Challengers Bangalore.

RCB have to win their clash against GT in all the scenarios to seal their berth in the playoffs of the tournament. Whereas, for Mumbai Indians as well, the win is only an option to qualify for the knockout stage of the tournament.

Speaking of RCB, they will lock horns with the defending champions Gujarat Titans in the last league match. But the weather conditions at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium are continuously getting worsened as it’s still raining at the moment. Rain could play a villain in Bangalore’s hopes for the playoffs as if the match washes out, it will make it very easy for Mumbai Indians to qualify with a win in the ongoing match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, the fans are also coming up with a lot of divided and interesting reactions on the micro-blogging site Twitter for both RCB and MI. Some of the fans also went on predict that it could be the end of RCB’s campaign in the current season of the Indian Premier League.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Speaking of the ongoing 69th match of the tournament between MI and SRH, the hosts’ skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and has decided to bowl first. Batting first, the Sunrisers have scored 31 runs without any loss in 3.3 overs. At the time of filling this copy, openers, Vivrant Sharma and Mayank Agarwal are there in the middle on the individual scores of 15 and 11 runs respectively.
