Recently, Delhi Capitals skipper David Warner, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh, and Phil Salt's kits were stolen. The incident happened during the team's travel from Bangalore to Delhi. The 2020 finalists played their league game of the ongoing IPL 2023 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. After the game, the Capitals went back to their home city to play their recently concluded game against Kolkata Knight Riders.

After reaching the hotel room, the trio realized that some of their kits were missing. In reply, the logistic manager of DC decided to file a missing complaint against the culprits.

“The complaint states that at the Bengaluru airport, their staff unloaded the vehicle and load was booked with IndiGo for 64 bags on Flight No. 6E861 for which load was screened and handed over," details of the statement were shared by the ANI.

"It further states their Delhi team released this shipment through their staff, the load was forwarded for final delivery immediately and 64 pieces were unloaded and delivered at Hotel ITC Maurya. Next day they got info of some items missing,” the statement read.

Meanwhile, Warner has posted a picture of the recovered cricket bats on his Instagram story. He expressed his gratitude to the police for finding the culprits.

Great to get two points: David Warner

Meanwhile, the national-capital-based side won their first game of the season. In the game against KKR, the Blue Brigade won the game in the last over despite chasing less than 130 runs

"Great to get the two points. It's awesome; we are really proud of the bowling unit. We asked for wickets in the powerplay, and they did that. Again we lost wickets in a cluster. We can have those upfront conversations. We played an okay game."
