He has spent years playing for the Bangalore franchise in the Indian T20 League, entertaining everyone with his exceptional big-hitting powers. Naturally, Gayle has always been a fan favourite in Bangalore. As such, the superstar cricketer chose to return to the city he so dearly loves for the Kannada Chalanachitra Cup 2023.
Chris Gayle is currently playing in the KCC for Hoysala Eagles. On Friday's game against Wodeyar Chargers, Chris Gayle did a little more than only bat stupendously to win the crowd over. Kannada fans are known for the atmosphere they create. As such, the Kannada song 'Chuttu Chuttu' was on in the stadium, and the 43-year-old was seen showing off his dance moves while fielding near the boundary ropes.

Chris Gayle scored an unbeaten 59 off 23 deliveries
However, Gayle's antics were not only limited to his dance moves. The former West Indies opener's quickfire knock helped his side chase down 106 inside 10 overs. He also ensured he did his job with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 59 off 23 deliveries in his former home, M Chinnaswamy Stadium. His team also featured the Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep.
