Chris Gayle is currently in the headlines of social media for his recent statements during a GOAT discussion on the history of the Indian T20 League. He was also accompanied by some of the former greats of the game including the likes of former New Zealand all-rounder Scott Styris, former Indian cricketers Suresh Raina, Robin, and legendary leg spinner Anil Kumble.

During the discussion, Gayle was asked by Styris about his couple of picks in the Indian T20 League. It also included the question on the toughest bowler the ‘Universe Boss’ ever faced in his career in the Indian T20 League.

While answering this question, Gayle left out two renowned and veteran Indian off-spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Harbhajan Singh from the list. Subsequently, he named the Indian pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah as the toughest bowler he ever faced in the Indian T20 League. Notably, the 43-year-old had faced the Ahmedabad pacer on 10 occasions and could score only 37 runs off 48 balls.
