English all-rounder Chris Woakes attains a career-best third position among bowlers in the ICC Men's ODI Player Rankings.

English all-rounder Chris Woakes attains a career-best third position among bowlers in the ICC Men's ODI Player Rankings. The 32-year-old performed brilliantly against Sri Lanka in the three-match ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League series. He bagged six wickets in two matches, including a four-wicket haul for 18 in the first ODI. The all-rounder has progressed four slots in the ICC Men's ODI Player Rankings. 

The list is led by New Zealand's Trent Boult, with Bangladesh's Mehidy Hasan Miraz in second place. Chris Woakes's previous best was the fourth spot which he attained in September last year. He is also up one spot to third among all-rounders after surpassing his teammate, Ben Stokes.

South Africa's Quinton De Kock is placed 13th in ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings

Talking about other players, David Willey and Tom Curran, too, have progressed in the latest rankings update. Fast bowler David Willey has advanced up 13 places to 37th position. He picked up nine wickets which also included a haul of four for 64 in the second match. On the other hand, Tom also advances 20 places to the 68th position. He picked up four wickets in two games against Sri Lanka. England's 2-0 series win against the Island nation has helped them to the top of the CWC Super League Standings. 

For Sri Lanka, skipper Kusal Perera has moved to the 41st position after scoring 82 runs in the series. Dhananjaya de Silva has also gained 10 slots to reach 74th position. Dasun Shanaka and Wanindu Hasaranga are in joint-98th position after progressing 13 and 12 places, respectively.

Talking about the ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings, South Africa's Quinton de Kock has jumped nine places to 13th position. He amassed 255 runs in their five-match series against the West Indies. Aiden Markram is also up 23 places to 19th position. Proteas bowlers George Linde and Lungi Ngidi have also gained after their 3-2 win.
