The current edition of the Indian Premier League 2023 is making it to the headlines of social media for a lot of reasons other than cricket. A similar happened during the ongoing 58th match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants. The unpleasant scenes took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium when the Hyderabad crowd started throwing nuts and bolts at the Lucknow Supe Giants dugout.

The incident happened just after the umpire’s decision on a controversial no-ball while LSG were bowling in the first innings of the match. This unwanted moment when fans started misbehaving with the visitors’ team came up in the 19th over of the match when SRH had scored 173 runs for the loss of five wickets in 18.4 overs.

Later on, the news and visuals of this incident in the ongoing match of the IPL 2023 started making rounds on social media immediately within minutes of being shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Subsequently, the fans have also come up with a lot of various reactions and responses on the same. Notably, the match was also delayed due to this notorious act from the fans.

Talking about the current action of the match between SRH and LSG, the hosts managed to post a total of 182 runs for the loss of six wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klassen played a crucial knock of 47 runs off just 29 balls with three boundaries and the same number of sixes with the bat. Other than him, the lower middle-order batter also contributed with the important knock scoring 37 runs with a boundary and four massive sixes with the wood.

Skipper Krunal Pandya scalped two wickets for LSG in the first innings alongside one wicket each claimed by Yudhvir, Avesh Khan, Yash Thakur, and Amit Mishra.

At the time of filling this copy, the visitors LSG have scored 73 runs for the loss of two wickets in 11.3 overs while chasing the target of 183 runs. Prerak Mankad and Marcus Stoinis are there in the middle on the individual scores of 29 and 11 runs respectively.
