The Indian Contingent had a great day in the Commonwealth Games on August 3. Most athletes have either assured their medals going forward, or have already won them. The badminton team won silver while the Lawn Bowl team won Gold. On the other hand, there was no stopping the weightlifting team as they added more medals. The athletics and squash players secured bronze medals while Judo saw the team bagging another silver.
Talking about Hockey, both Men's and Women's teams beat Canada. In Para Table Tennis, it was a combination of mixed results. In cricket, the Women In Blue secured a huge win against Barbados to secure a place in the semifinals. With this, they are now one step closer to their maiden medal.
