The thirteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) reached an end on Tuesday with the final game between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. The defending champions Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Capitals by five wickets and preserved their title. They created history by winning the competition five times. None of the other IPL teams has won the title more than three times.

Jofra Archer – Most Valuable Player

Jofra Archer got 20 wickets at an average around 19, playing for Rajasthan Royals. He yielded just 6.55 runs per over and made a mark with the bat as well, scoring 113 runs, including 10 sixes.

KL Rahul – Orange Cap

KL Rahul scored the highest number of runs in IPL 2020 and won the Orange Cap. At a surprising average of 55.83, the Kings XI Punjab captain scored 670 runs. His strike-rate is around 130. The right-handed batsman smashed one century and five half-centuries while smashing 58 fours and 23 sixes.

Kagiso Rabada – Purple Cap

Kagiso Rabada picked up the highest number of wickets in IPL 2020 and won the Purple Cap. The South African pacer picked 30 wickets in total. It is also the highest in an IPL edition by a Delhi Capitals player.

Trent Boult – Powerplayer

Trent Boult of Mumbai Indians received the "Powerplayer" for his extraordinary performance inside the powerplay overs. He won the honor five times this edition. Boult completed IPL 2020 with 25 wickets.

Ishan Kishan – Most sixes

Ishan Kishan of Mumbai Indians hit 30 sixes in the IPL 2020. He ended the tournament as the highest run-scorer of Mumbai Indians, scoring 516 runs.

Kieron Pollard – Super-striker of the season

Kieron Pollard ended IPL 2020 with the highest strike-rate. His strike-rate for the season is 191.42. The West Indies star smashed 268 runs this season.

KL Rahul – Game-changer of the season

KL Rahul won another award other than the Orange Cap in IPL 2020. The player of the Punjab-based team won the ‘game-changer of the season’ award.

Devdutt Padikkal – Emerging Player

The Royal Challengers Bangalore opener ended his maiden IPL season, scoring the highest run from his side. He smashed 473 runs with the assistance of five fifties.
