Watch: Craze of Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' reaches Bangladesh Premier League

Nazmul Islam was seen stroking his beard just like the signature step from Allu Arjun's movie Pushpa in the BPL.

The craze of Indian movies is spread across the globe, as can be seen in a match between Comilla Victorians and Sylhet Sunrisers in the Bangladesh Premier League.Ā  Nazmul Islam, from Sunrisers, after picking the wicket of Shohidul Islam, burst into celebration. He was seen stroking his beard just like the signature step of Allu Arjun from movie Pushpa.

The left-hander bowled a fuller delivery on the off stump, forcing Shohidul Islam to play a lofted shot towards long-off. Fielder Ravi Bopara, running towards his left, had to put in a dive to complete the catch.Ā  Nazmul took a total of three wickets in the game.

Allu Arjun is a famous Indian Actor who has achieved global stardom for his action movies in the Southern Industry of the country. His recent film Pushpa: The rise, was accepted by masses across the world. He occasionally strokes his beard in the movie, which has led to a lot of trends on Social Media. This has now turned into a celebration by the players.

In the match between Comilla Victorians and Sylhet Sunrisers, Sunrisers set a small total of 96 for the Victorians to chase down. In reply, Victorians were not too strong either. They struggled to get to the total but eventually got there with two wickets to spare. Nahidul Islam was awarded the Man of the Match for his two wickets in the first innings.

The BPL started on Friday (21st of January). The playoffs will begin from the 12th of February, and the finals will be played on the 18th of January.
