Star uncapped Indian all-rounder Rahul Tewatia is currently in action for Haryana in the ongoing Ranji Trophy 2024. He has produced some impressive performances both with the bat and the ball in the tournament so far, scoring a half-century and a century in the last five matches for his side.

Apart from cricket, Tewatia has made it to the headlines of social media for his new look, which he came up with during the recently concluded Elite Group A match of the Ranji Trophy 2024 at the Keenan Stadium in Jamshedpur.

The 30-year-old was seen with a grown-up moustache, wearing a cap and a bit bulky body; it also gave the vintage cricketers’ vibes to the cricket fans. The fans came up with a lot of different reactions comparing him with the former legendary cricketers like Javed Miandad, Kapil Dev and former Indian all-rounder Manoj Prabhakar.

Here’s the new look of Rahul Tewatia:

Speaking of cricket, Rahul Tewatia performed brilliantly with the bat for Haryana in the recently concluded Elite Group A match against Jharkhand in Jamshedpur. He played an amazing century-knock, scoring 144 runs off 212 balls, with 24 fours and a six on his credit.

Besides, Tewatia, opening batter Ankit Kumar also scored 109 runs, with 17 fours followed by 82 and 86-run knocks played by Himanshu Rana and Sumit Kumar. These knocks helped the visitors to post a mammoth total of 509 runs in 134.5 overs.

While responding to Haryana’s first-innings total of 509 runs, Jharkhand were bundled out at the score of 119 runs; they were forced a follow-on by Haryana as they trailed by a huge margin of 390 runs at the end of the first innings.

While following on the target in the second innings, Jharkhand once again failed to stand strong against Haryana’s bowling attack led by the veteran spinner Jayant Yadav. Haryana bundled out the hosts just at the score of 185 runs in the second innings and won the match by an innings and 205 runs.

Jayant Yadav won the ‘Player of the Match award for his sensational bowling, scalping a total of 10 wickets in the match, with 2 consecutive five-wicket hauls.
