Apollo Tyres announced as Team India’s front-jersey sponsor

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Tuesday, September 16, announced that Apollo Tyres is the new front-jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team across formats for both men’s and women’s international teams.

Notably, Apollo Tyres won the bid at INR 579 Crore for two-and-a-half years, covering 121 bilateral games and 21 ICC matches, and the agreement concludes in March 2028. Interestingly, the graphic design company Canva and JK Cements were also in the bidding process.

According to a report published on Cricbuzz, the base price set by the BCCI was INR 3.5 crore for bilateral games and INR 1.5 crore for the World Cup matches. However, Apollo Tyres will offer INR 4.77 Crore per match to the Indian cricket team.
