The fourth match of the Asia Cup is slated between Pakistan and Oman from Group A. It will be an exciting encounter between the two sides and here are three players to watch out for in the upcoming game.

1. Saim Ayub

Since making his debut, Saim Ayub has captured everyone's attention and is likely one of the Pakistani team's fastest-rising players. Ayub is one of the most prized wickets in Pakistan's batting lineup because he can play both aggressive and intelligent cricket with the bat, depending on the circumstances.

But that's not all, as Ayub can bowl in any part of the game, including the middle overs, death overs, and powerplay, and win matches with the ball. When the Pakistani squad plays Oman on Friday in the Asia Cup 2025, they will have great expectations for the young player.

2. Jatinder Singh

Quite an unlikely name to the list, but Jatinder Singh has been in such a fine form that he cannot be ignored. The skipper of the Oman side has been leading from the front for his team. In the last 10 matches, which is a mix of ODIs as well as T20Is, he has scored 289 runs with a strike rate of 131.

He has slammed two half-centuries in his last three T20I appearances and can swing his arm when needed. Coming in front of the Pakistani bowling attack, he might be one of the precious batter in the Oman team and they will be relying on him to score a lot of runs.

3. Fakhar Zaman

The 35-year-old Fakhar Zaman, one of the most seasoned players in Pakistan's Asia Cup 2025 squad, has demonstrated to his team management that he possesses all the abilities necessary to succeed in the fast-paced, contemporary T20 cricket style that Pakistan is striving for.

He has been assigned to bat at number three in the current lineup. If Pakistan gets off to a scorching start and he is doing admirably, his goal is to either continue the attacking momentum or establish a partnership if they lose an early wicket. Fakhar was a touch out of character before the team announcement, but he recovered throughout the just-finished T20 tri-series against Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates.
