Team India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai. Several Indian players delivered under pressure and won the game convincingly.
Here are the ratings for Team India players vs Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025
Abhishek Sharma – 8/10
The young opener set the tone with a blistering 31 off 13 balls at a strike rate of 238.46. His quick-fire knock laid the foundation for India’s chase. With the ball, he bowled one tidy over, conceding just five runs, and in the field, he held on to the catch of Pakistan skipper Salman Ali Agha.
Shubman Gill – 5/10
A disappointing outing for the vice-captain. Gill failed to convert his start and was dismissed for only 10 runs off seven balls.
Sanju Samson (wk) – 5/10
It was a quiet day for the wicketkeeper. Samson had no dismissals behind the stumps and wasn’t required with the bat as India chased the target with ease.
Suryakumar Yadav (capt) – 9/10
On his 35th birthday, the skipper delivered a captain’s performance. First, he rotated his bowlers well to keep Pakistan to a below-par total. Then, with the bat, he anchored the chase with an unbeaten 47 off 37 balls, finishing the game in style with a six.
Tilak Varma – 6/10
Played a steady hand alongside his captain, contributing 31 off 31 balls in a 56-run partnership with Surya. While effective, his strike rate could have been better given his ability. In the field, he took the catch of Fakhar Zaman.
Shivam Dube – 6/10
Unused as a bowler, but with the bat, Dube stayed unbeaten on 10 off seven balls to see India home.
Hardik Pandya – 7.5/10
Struck with the new ball to dismiss Saim Ayub for a golden duck. Though he was slightly expensive, conceding 34 runs in three overs, he made up for it with two sharp catches to remove Sahibzada Farhan and Mohammad Haris. Not required with the bat.
Axar Patel – 8.5/10
Economical and incisive. Axar bowled his full quota for just 18 runs while claiming two wickets. He also contributed in the field with a catch to dismiss Hasan Nawaz.
Kuldeep Yadav – 9.5/10
Back-to-back Player of the Match awards underline his dominance. After starring against the UAE, Kuldeep was at it again, taking 3/18 in his four overs.
Jasprit Bumrah – 8.5/10
Bumrah’s control and precision left Pakistan batters struggling. He took 2/28 in his four overs, maintaining pressure throughout.
Varun Chakravarthy – 7.5/10
Could have been slightly sharper, but still effective. The mystery spinner claimed 1/24 in his four overs, with Pakistan’s batters repeatedly struggling to pick his variations.
