Asia Cup 2025: What did Suryakumar Yadav & Kuldeep Yadav say after India vs UAE, Match 2?

India bagged a nine-wicket comfortable win over the UAE in the second match of the Asia Cup 2025 campaign at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai on Wednesday, September 10.

Moving into the details of the game, UAE batted first after losing the toss. Openers Alishan Sharafu (22) and Muhammad Waseem (19) started off well, but later the side staged a major collapse from 26/0 to 57/10 in 13.1 overs.

While Kuldeep Yadav was the wrecker-in-chief with the ball, scalping four wickets, conceding seven runs in 2.1 overs, Shivam Dube pocketed three wickets, conceding four runs in two overs.

“(decision to bowl first) Wanted to see how the wicket was playing. It was the same in the 2nd innings. Clinical performance from the boys, we wanted a good attitude and energy on the field and that's what we got. Recently a lot of the boys were here for the Champions Trophy, the wicket looked good but it was on the slower side and the spinners have a role. Here it is very hot right now and Kuldeep did well, got good support from Hardik, Dube and Bumrah. (on Abhishek) He is currently the World number one batter for a reason, he sets the tone, irrespective of if we chase 200 or 50, unbelievable from him. Everyone is excited for the game against Pakistan.”
