The BCCI are reportedly set to bring several protocols into play following India's 3-1 loss to Austral;ia in the Border Gavaskar Trophy. There have been reports from ESPNCricinfo stating that the players' wives and girlfriends would not be allowed to stay longer than 14 days on a tour that lasted as long as 45 days.
Several former cricketers have reacted to these rumours on X (formerly Twitter) and cricket expert Harsha Bhogle also gave his opinion on the reported protocols. According to Bhogle, there needs to be a ban on players having PR agencies. Here's what he wrote on X:
"Reading of the changes the BCCI is apparently suggesting for the Indian team. I don't know how much to believe but if I had to nominate one rule to be strictly applied, it would be to ban team members from having PR agencies," Bhogle posted on X."

According to Bhogle, the PR agencies are probably causing unrest in the team with several leaks also reported from the team.
Question marks on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma's future
Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli had a pretty ordinary series with the bat. Rohit scored just 31 runs in five innings at an average of 6.2 and decided to sit out of the final Test in Sydney owing to his poor returns with the bat.
Virat Kohli did score a century in the first Test in Perth, but could only muster a total of 190 runs in the nine innings at an average of 23.75. The duo have faced a lot of backlash on social media with some fans even asking for them to retire from the longest format.
Kohli is reportedly set to play County cricket ahead of the next Test series against England. Rohit, on the other hand, claimed in an interview with Star Sports that he had no plans of retiring yet and has begun training with the Mumbai Ranji Trophy squad.
