Indian skipper and batting superstar, Rohit Sharma achieved an amazing milestone as he became the batter to hit the highest number of sixes in international cricket. Rohit has surpassed the Caribbean batting legend, Chris Gayle, who has smashed 553 sixes in international cricket. Rohit achieved this feat in the ongoing India vs Afghanistan clash in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2022.

The 36-year-old has now 555 sixes to his name by the time he is batting there in the middle against Afghanistan. Rohit has scored a blistering 92 runs off just 56 balls with 11 fours and 4 sixes. On the back of his outstanding ongoing knock, India have scored 130 runs for no loss in just 15 overs.

On the other hand, Rohit’s opening partner and young batter, Ishan Kishan is also batting on the individual score of 31 runs, with 4 fours and a six.
