The ECN Budapest Cup T20I 2025 will feature matches between Hungary, Austria, Romania, and Luxembourg. Austria vs. Romania will be the first encounter of the competition on Friday, July 25. Luxembourg and Hungary are the other two teams competing in the competition.

During the tournament, each of the four teams will play the other three teams once. The GB Oval in Szodliget will host eight Twenty20 International matches. According to the Men's T20I Team Rankings, Austria is ranked 44th, followed by Romania, Hungary, and Luxembourg, who are ranked 55th, 65th, and 74th, respectively.

This year, Austria, Romania, and Hungary participated in the Continental Cup. Group A was assigned to each of the three teams. Austria won and lost one game apiece, while Romania won both of its games. Hungary finished in third place and lost both its games. Austria made it to the final of the tournament and lost the match by 47 runs against Malta.
