Ahead of the fourth Test match against India in Ranchi, England have announced their playing XI. The Three Lions won the first Test match against Hyderabad by 28 runs. For the fourth Test match England have made two major changes as they have dropped Rehan Ahmed and Mark Wood.

Shoaib Bashir who made his debut in second Test match has comeback for the fourth Test while Ollie Robinson who is going to play his first match in this Test series is replaced by Mark Wood.

Ollie Robinson last represented England in a Test against Australia in Headingly during the Ashes series. Ollie Robinson has picked 76 wickets with an average of 22.21. England captain Ben Stokes lauded his efforts he has put in training over the period of two weeks.

"I told him today he has been a great example of doing the right things and waiting your turn if it comes. Not playing the first three Tests can be tough and disappointing. But the way he has cracked on and got his fitness stuff in and not let disappointment get in the way of a potential chance that might come in this series," Stokes stated.

England showed faith in Jonny Bairstow

While head coach Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes has showed faith in Jonny Bairstow who has been struggling to get runs in the Test match so far. On the other hand, England looked to bounce back after they got humiliated by India in the third Test match as they lost by 434 runs to India. India has taken the lead of 2-1.

Meanwhile India looks to rest Jasprit Bumrah for the upcoming Test match due to manage his workload while KL Rahul will miss due to his fitness.
