India clinched their 2nd ODI series win in South Africa. The visiting side claimed the series in 2023 by beating the home side in the 3rd ODI by 78 runs. Sanju Samson was the hero for India in the match with his batting performance. But it was a collective team effort from India which helped them to claim a series win. The young players helped India to win the series. 

Arshdeep Singh, Sai Sudarshan, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan, Washington Sundar, and other young players were the key players for India in the series win. It will be remembered for a long time. In the series decider, India was asked to bat first on a slow wicket. There was a collapse at the start, as Rajat Patidar and Sai Sudarshan were dismissed early in the innings. 

That was when  Sanju Samson stepped up and played a wonderful knock. The talented batter scored his maiden ODI ton in a fairly aggressive manner and helped India to stay alive in the match. At the other end, Tilak Varma and Rinku Singh batted well. In the end, India ended up with a good score of 296 runs on the board, which was a lot on the wicket which was slow.

Defending 297, India conceded a  lot with the new ball. Mukesh Kumar was expensive at the start. But India slowly brought the game back in their favour by claiming wickets at crucial intervals. They also ensured that the batters found it difficult to score runs in the middle, De Zorzi tried his best to win the match for SA, but in vain. 

India bowlers were brilliant throughout the game and the series. Sundar bowled a brilliant spell in the middle overs and ended up with figures of 2/38 in his 10 overs. But the star of India's bowling was Arshdeep Singh, who bowled yet another brilliant spell. He claimed 4/30 with the ball and helped KL Rahul-led India to register a huge win to claim the series.
