In a shocking piece of news for Pakistan Cricket fans, the former skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed has reportedly left his home country Pakistan to move to London in the United Kingdom. The media reports have learned that the veteran wicketkeeper-batter didn’t see his future with the Pakistan cricket team so he decided to move outside Pakistan.

Meanwhile, some of the media reports also understand that the 36-year-old might be seen playing in the upcoming Pakistan Super League; he is likely to play for the PSL franchise Quetta Gladiators in the upcoming edition of the tournament.

A few weeks ago, Sarfaraz was in action for Pakistan in the three-match Test series against Australia. However, he could play only in the first Test of the three-match Test series, where he didn’t perform well and could only score 7 runs in the entire game.

Notably, the Karachi veteran has a different respect among the Pakistan cricket fans for his achievement in the Champions Trophy 2017. The men in green defeated the arch-rivals India to clinch their first-ever title of Champions Trophy in the history of the tournament.

However, Sarfaraz has been sidelined from Pakistan's national cricket team on several occasions in various tournaments. Cricket fans have also criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board for ignoring him from the national squad.

Earlier in Pakistan cricket, former star pacer Mohammad Amir had also left Pakistan and is also reported to have citizenship in England. His wife is also an English citizen.

Speaking of the current situation for the Pakistan Cricket Team, they are going through a very dismal run in international cricket. The team faced an embarrassing 0-3 clean sweep loss against Australia in the three-match Test series. Following that, the green men are trailing by 0-4 in the ongoing five-match T20I series against New Zealand.
