“Dono apne hai” - Haris Rauf confident of defeating India in Asia Cup 2025

Haris Rauf boldly claims Pakistan will beat India in Asia Cup 2025, saying “Dono apne hai.” The rivalry heats up ahead of the September 14 showdown.

Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf is confident of defeating Team India in the forthcoming Asia Cup 2025 campaign, which is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, September 9, in the United Arab Emirates.

The eight-team showpiece event will feature eight teams, divided into two groups of four teams each. India will lock horns with Pakistan in the group stage game on Sunday, September 14, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. 

Moreover, they are expected to clash against each other in the Super Four stage on September 21 if both sides advance to the next round of the competition. Ahead of the much-awaited campaign, Haris Rauf had a chat with a fan during the practice session, which is going viral on the internet. 

In the viral eight-second clip, a fan told Rauf about two upcoming matches against India in the Asia Cup 2025 competition. 

To which Rauf replied, stating, “Dono apne hai, Inshallah (Both matches are ours, God willing).”

While India, UAE, Pakistan, and Oman are part of Group A in the forthcoming showpiece event, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong are part of Group B. The grand finale is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 28 in Dubai.
