Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who played a defining role in India’s T20 World Cup title defense, has stated that his main goal for the next 10 years of his career is to win 10 more ICC titles.

Speaking after India’s title win over New Zealand in Ahmedabad on Sunday night, Pandya revealed that the whole team was confident of the victory, adding that losing wasn’t a thought, highlighting the team’s self-belief. 

"I have 10 more years left in me, and I want to win 10 more ICC titles. That's my goal. [On winning at home and defending the title] It's quite emotional. Furthermore, Pandya also made a big admission about his girlfriend, Mahieka Sharma, who has been a huge supporter of the cricketer. Notably, she has been seen in the stands for almost all of India’s games, supporting the all-rounder.

"This victory is always what I live for. I have played cricket for this, I want to win trophies, I want to win as many trophies as possible for India. Jab se Mahieka aayi hai, life mein bas jeet hi jeet hai (From the time Mahieka has come into my life, I am only winning),” Hardik said after the game.

“So special mention to Mahieka, to my whole team. I think without them, I would not be here. This would not have been possible. No matter how hard you work, but because of their support, because of my wife’s support, that is why we are here and I am very happy,” he added.
