Former Indian skipper and the modern-day batting great, Virat Kohli mistakenly wore a different jersey from his teammates while taking the field at the start of an ongoing match against Pakistan. Kohli was seen wearing a jersey with white stripes while other players were there in the middle with tri-colour stripes on their shoulders.
Later, he went to the changing room to change the jersey and came back with the changed jersey on which he had tri-colour stripes on the shoulder. The eagle-eyed fans on social media didn’t miss to notice this minor change during the match. They also shared a couple of pictures of Virat Kohli in both jerseys, including white stripes and then tri-colour stripes.

Speaking of the action of the match, Pakistan faced a horrific collapse in the first innings as they were at 155 runs for the loss of 2 wickets and later, they lost the remaining 8 wickets just within the score of 36 runs to get all-out on the score of 191 runs in 42.5 overs. Skipper Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were the only two high-scorers in the Pakistan innings.
Babar scored 50 runs, with 7 fours followed by Rizwan 49 runs, with 7 fours; other than these two, openers Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq contributed with the knocks of 20 and 36 runs, respectively. Except for Shardul Thakur, all five Indian bowlers scalped two wickets each.
Now, India need 192 runs to win this match to register the eighth successive win and remain unassailable against Pakistan in the ODI World Cup history. Earlier, both teams were coming off with two successive wins in their first two matches of the ODI World Cup 2023. India defeated Australia and Afghanistan; on the other hand, the men in green won against Netherlands and Sri Lanka in their first and second matches, respectively.
