Led by Rishabh Pant in the IPL 2024 season, Delhi Capitals failed to make it to the playoffs, securing the sixth spot on the points table. They managed to win seven games while they lost as many contests last season.

2. Rishabh Pant

Interestingly, Rishabh Pant, who captained the Delhi Capitals’ franchise until last year, would be seen leading the Lucknow Super Giants franchise this time around. He is one of the explosive players with the willow in the middle overs.

Playing for the Capitals team in IPL 2024, Pant scored 446 runs from 13 innings at an average of 40.54 with 88* being his highest score of the season. His strike rate was impressive at 155.4 with three fifty-plus scores.

3. Axar Patel

Axar Patel, who has been in the Delhi Capitals team for a long time, has been given captaincy of the franchise this season. We can expect Axar to shine across three departments of the game in this season.

Axar Patel, who has been part of the DC team since IPL 2019, has scored 235 runs in the IPL 2024 season from 12 innings at an average of 29.37 with two fifty-plus scores. Moreover, he scalped 11 wickets from 14 innings with the ball in hand.
