3 Players to watch out for in RCB vs GT Match 14

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will take on Gujarat Titans in the 14th match of the IPL 2025 season at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday, April 2.

RCB, led by Rajat Patidar, started off with a win over the defending champions KKR. Later, they stunned CSK, led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, at Chepauk for the first time since 2008. Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans, led by Shubman Gill, started with an 11-run loss to PBKS. Later, they defeated Mumbai Indians by 36 runs.

On that note, let’s take a look at three players to watch out for in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Gujarat Titans game, Match 14.

3 Players to watch out for in RCB vs GT Match 14

1. Virat Kohli

Former RCB captain Virat Kohli is definitely one of the players to watch out for in this game between RCB and GT. He would be aiming to put up a big score after scoring only 31 runs against CSK.

Though he started off well with 59* runs against KKR, Kohli looked off-touch against CSK, scoring 31 runs, starting on a slow note. In the IPL 2024 season, he scored 741 runs at an average of 61.75 with six fifty-plus scores.

2. Shubman Gill

Shubman Gill, the Gujarat Titans opener and captain, has scored 71 runs from two innings so far this season. Gill has shown exceptional intent in both games, which is one of the major talking points of the season.

He was decent enough in the previous season as well, scoring 426 runs from 12 innings at an average of 38.72 with three fifty-plus scores. He would be aiming for a big score in this game as he has a good record at the Chinnaswamy venue.

3. Jos Buttler

Gujarat Titans top-order batter Jos Buttler is another player to keep your keen eye on in this exciting game. Buttler has scored 91 runs from two innings. He played a key role in propelling his side towards victory against MI in the previous game.

He had a decent season last year, scoring 359 runs from 11 innings at an average of 39.88 with two centuries. His strike rate of 140.78 last year went up by 163.15 this year, which makes him a player to watch out for.
