IPL 2025: 3 Players to watch out for in RR vs MI Match 50

Rajasthan Royals will face Mumbai Indians in the 50th match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. This is a must-win encounter for the Royals. They cannot afford to lose as it will end their hopes of making it to the playoffs completely.

However, the 14-year-old will be facing quality bowling against MI with the likes of Trent Boult, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah coming hard at him. The youngster has shown that he doesn’t lack confidence and has it in him make it big at the highest level.

2. Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav has been the go to man for Mumbai Indians whenever they are in trouble. He has been batting at number three and four this season and has performed exceptionally well so far. Surya has crossed 25 or more in 10 consecutive innings and is in the race to become the leading run-scorer too.

The India T20I skipper has so far scored 427 runs in 10 matches at an average of 61 and a strike rate of 169.44 with three fifties to his name. In order to register their sixth win on the trot, MI will need Surya to go all guns blazing in this encounter as well.

3. Sandeep Sharma

Sandeep Sharma’s struggles have been evident in IPL 2025. He has struggled to land his yorkers especially at the death and has conceded more than 20 runs in the final over of the innings multiple times as well.

However, he enjoys bowling against Mumbai Indians, having dismissed Rohit Sharma and Surya five and four times respectively so far. Moreover, Sandeep also picked up a five-wicket haul, the last time these two teams met in Jaipur. All eyes will be on the veteran pacer to deliver against the five-time champions.
