IPL 2025: 3 SRH Players who deserve a better team in IPL 2026

Sunrisers Hyderabad's IPL 2025 campaign was a mixed bag, with both brilliant and erratic performances.  A few talented players were frequently underutilized due to their team's philosophy.

Some people who want more responsibility or clear duties to succeed in the league might benefit from a change of scenery as teams prepare for the 2026 Indian Premier League.  Some players were unable to play to their full ability due to position ambiguity and frequent changes in the starting lineup.

Here are the 3 SRH Players who deserve a better team in IPL 2026:

1. Ishan Kishan

In IPL 2025, Ishan Kishan was a surprise selection for SRH, but the move didn't work out as planned. He found it difficult to establish rhythm while batting in the middle order, and his aggressive batting style didn't fit the role. He did hit a century and a fifty, but by the time he found his rhythm, SRH had crashed out.

He might regain his form and confidence before the T20 World Cup year if he moves to a team like KKR or CSK, where he can express himself freely from the first ball. He loves batting at the top, and both these franchises need explosive opening batters who can keep.

2. Rahul Chahar

Despite Rahul Chahar's experience and effectiveness in the middle overs, the SRH squad generally ignored his leg-spin ability in the 2025 Indian Premier League, favoring other choices. He was unable to gain traction or present a compelling argument for retention due to his sparse appearances.

He would be given more responsibility and regular opportunities to use the ball to anchor the middle phase for teams like the Delhi Capitals or Rajasthan Royals, who need a dependable Indian spinner.

3. Harsh Dubey

In his few opportunities, Harsh Dubey showed excellent turn and control in spin-friendly circumstances, but he was regularly benched while SRH experimented with combinations. He wasn't allowed to grow across games, despite his promise.

Dubey might receive the guidance and steady role he needs from a younger team like the RR or PBKS, who need talented Indian spinners and help Dubey to become a future spin asset in the league.
