IPL 2025: 4 teams that might not reach the playoffs

3. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

Furthermore, their bowlers have not performed well under pressure. SRH batters who have a reputation to go big at the start need to come good on their promises and get going. However, a playoff berth is becoming less realistic given their present standing in the standings.

4. Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

The five-time champions Chennai Super Kings have never finished at the bottom of the IPL points table ever. But it seems like in IPL 2025, that record will be broken, as CSK has only 4 points from 8 games thus far, and the NRR is -1.392. They have suffered significant defeats due to their inconsistent batting and lack of focus during critical moments. To increase their NRR, the club must win games with significant margins.

 CSK has to win every game they have left and hope that other clubs will play well to pull off a stunning turnaround. Apart from Noor Ahmad, none of their bowlers have done well, and none of the batters have come to the party despite hopes from many.
