The Chennai Super Kings (CSK), led by Ruturaj Gaikwad, will take the field in the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) with an aim to lift the trophy for a record sixth time. The five-time champions couldn’t make it to the playoffs last season but will be hoping for a better show this time around.
They will start their campaign with a game against arch-rivals Mumbai Indians on March 23 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. CSK will play only two out of 14 matches in the afternoon when the action starts at 3:30 PM IST - against Delhi Capitals on April 5 and against Gujarat Titans on April 18, which is also their final league stage game.
Apart from MI, the Gaikwad-led side will lock horns twice against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders this season.
