IPL 2025: Best XI from the eliminated teams

Despite some outstanding individual performances, a number of elite teams missed out on the playoffs in the 2025 Indian Premier League.  Many players excelled even while their teams struggled, from SRH's explosive batting to RR's up-and-coming skills to CSK's top-order steadiness.

The all-star roster from the teams that were unable to qualify is shown here; it might pose a threat to any of the teams that advanced to the final four.

Check out the Best XI from the eliminated teams of IPL 2025:

Abhishek Sharma, the most successful opener for SRH, spearheaded the attack with 439 runs at a strike rate of 193.3, including one of the fastest IPL hundreds ever, a record 141 off 55 balls.

He was ideally matched by Travis Head, who scored a crucial 66 off 37 in SRH's 246-run chase—their second-highest partnership ever. He was one of the most dangerous openers in the competition because of his aggressive starts.

SRH's middle order was anchored by Henrich Klaasen, who amassed 278 runs, including a scorching 105 off 37 balls against KKR. His ability to remain composed under duress and his late-overs hitting were crucial to SRH's victory.

With opportune half-centuries in the closing stages, RR's Yashasvi Jaiswal recovered his form and cemented his No. 3 position under duress. He also ended up making the most runs for RR in the IPL 2025. Another impressive RR player was Riyan Parag, who was their reliable finisher.

For CSK, Shivam Dube added middle-overs muscle. He earned a berth in this XI thanks to his potent six-hitting, which helped them win games.

The first-choice spinner, Noor Ahmad of CSK, took 24 wickets in 14 games. Yuzvendra Chahal, who took 16 wickets, including a hat-trick, also made an impression.
