IPL 2025: Full list of matches at Eden Gardens, Kolkata

Eden Gardens at Kolkata is the home to the current defending champions of the Indian Premier League, Kolkata Knight Riders. KKR surely boast their home ground as their fortress which most teams find difficult to breach and conquer. 

Creating a unique record, Kolkata will be hosting the first as well as the final game of the season this time around. Of all the 74 games in the IPL 2025, 

Eden Gardens is all set to host the season opener between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on March 25. The clash between these teams proves to be a sensational encounter and the fans would be hoping for this to be the same.

The 15th match of the season would then next be played at the Eden Gardens between the Knights and the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 03. In back-to-back home games, KKR would be hosting Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) next on April 06 in an afternoon game, KKR’s first of the season.

Kolkata would then be playing a couple of away games before they come back home to play successive home games. The 39th match of the season is scheduled to be played between KKR and Gujarat Titans at the Eden Gardens before they host Punjab Kings (PBKS) on April 26.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) are the next opponents for KKR at the Kolkata ground in the 53rd match of the season which is also their second and last afternoon game of the edition. The last home of the season in the league stage at the Eden Gardens is supposed to be played between the same opponents of the opener game, RCB and KKR.

The Eden Gardens is also hosting the knockout games of the season this time. Qualifier 2 of this edition is scheduled for May 23 while the last game of the season, the Finals is supposed to be played here too on May 25.
