IPL 2025: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Full Schedule

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the defending IPL champions, will aim to retain their title in IPL 2025 under a new captain, as Shreyas Iyer was not retained or re-signed in the auction.

The tournament opener will see KKR take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in Kolkata on 22 March. They will then play two away games against Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI). KKR will return home to face last season’s runners-up, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), followed by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG).

Next, they will travel to face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) before hosting Gujarat Titans (GT) and PBKS in Kolkata. KKR will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) in Delhi on 29 April, followed by their final two home games against RR on 4 May and CSK on 7 May.

KKR will wrap up their league phase with away fixtures against SRH on 10 May and RCB on 17 May. Their home match against LSG and away fixture against SRH will be played at 3:30 PM IST, while all other games will start at 7:30 PM IST.

With KKR playing their last two games away, they would prefer to secure their playoff qualification before those encounters to avoid any last-minute pressure.

Meanwhile, the franchise is yet to confirm its new captain, with several players in contention for the role. Reports suggest that KKR made a significant investment in Venkatesh Iyer during the auction, increasing the likelihood that he could be named the new skipper for IPL 2025.
