IPL 2025: Punjab Kings (PBKS) full schedule

The upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to get underway on March 22. Once again, Punjab Kings won’t be playing the opening encounter of the season. In fact, their opening encounter is scheduled to take place on March 25, three days after IPL 2025 commences, against Gujarat Titans.

Shreyas Iyer and his men will be chasing the first ever title of the franchise this time around. A new head coach in Ricky Ponting will also be keen on turning around the fortunes of PBKS but it won’t be an easy start for them.

Their first two matches are away from home in Ahmedabad and Lucknow against the Titans and Lucknow Super Giants respectively. Punjab Kings is one of the only three teams to have a second home venue. Like every year, they will play their home matches at the picturesque HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala.

Usually, two matches of PBKS are scheduled at the venue but this time around, Dharamsala has been allotted three matches with four of their other home matches to be played in Mullanpur. PBKS’ will host LSG, DC and MI in Dharamsala on May 4, 8 and 11 respectively and is the only team to play three home games at a stretch this season.

Their final league game of the season is set to take place on May 16 against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur.
