On Saturday, May 31, Krunal Pandya, the elder of the Pandya brothers, was seen at the airport during the IPL 2025 playoffs. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), of which Krunal is a member, advanced to the IPL 2025 final.

With nine victories and 19 points after the league stage, RCB came in second place. They faced table-toppers Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the first qualifier on May 29 due to their top-two finish. They dominated Punjab by eight wickets to guarantee their place in the final, continuing their amazing campaign.

One of the more seasoned and older players in the RCB team this year, Krunal Pandya, is enjoying his greatest IPL season with the ball. He has been playing a vital role for RCB and has been in excellent form, taking wickets.

In 14 games this season, Krunal has taken 15 wickets at an economy rate of 8.61 and an average of 24.13. This edition also featured his best IPL numbers, 4/45.

Prior to the final, Krunal Pandya was seen at the airport with his son. Along with his other teammates, he was spotted cradling his son in his hands while sporting his RCB travel kit.

Krunal was informed that the IPL trophy was on its way by a paparazzi who was at the airport. Interestingly, RCB has advanced to the finals four times now. But they didn't succeed the three times before.

 This season, the all-round player also demonstrated his batting abilities. Under pressure against the Delhi Capitals (DC), he hit an undefeated 73 off 47 balls with five boundaries and four sixes at a strike-rate of 155.32. In the end, his performance enabled RCB to chase down 163 runs in 18.3 overs with six wickets remaining.
