IPL: Predicting SRH strongest playing XI

The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), the 2016 IPL champions, finished as runners-up in the 2024 season under the captaincy of Pat Cummins. As they gear up for IPL 2025, the team will be eager to go one step further and claim the title. In the recent auction held in Jeddah, SRH made some impressive signings, including Ishan Kishan, Mohammed Shami, Adam Zampa, Harshal Patel, and Rahul Chahar, aiming to strengthen their squad.

The successful duo of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma will open the batting and will have the task of giving the team a strong start during the powerplay. Head was SRH's top scorer in 2024, amassing 567 runs in 15 matches.

Ishan Kishan will be making his debut for SRH and is expected to shine with the bat. Abhishek Manohar is likely to play a key role in the middle order, while Heinrich Klaasen brings his explosive batting style and experience to the team.

Mohammed Shami will play a crucial role in the fast-bowling attack alongside Cummins. Harshal Patel brings valuable experience, while Jaydev Unadkat is looking to maintain his form from the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Adam Zampa will lead the spin department.

Rahul Chahar could replace Abhishek Sharma as an impact player, adding depth to the bowling attack with his leg-spin.
